Some parts of the Aveyron are under orange alert for snow, mainly over 500 metres, but in fairly abundant amounts. Some 7-15 cms of snow in the higher eastern part of the region, with rain, including heavy showers in the western plains. Malc's trusty barometer is falling promising (or should that be threatening?) changeable weather.
