Whilst in The Costa Brava at Christmas we met Carol and her family who all live in Gerona. We hit it off immediately and have become friends on facebook. Carol works raising money for an overseas charity with her anglican church in her area. They are the couple whose face fell when they saw us in the hotel with dogs. Their two little dogs are not friendly to other dogs.
Today this lovely photo which I think sums up a grandparent's love and the child beginning to know that loving person in return.
