A friend in the UK had this response when he contacted Ryanair re flights to Rodez "flights are suspended and there are no plans to reinstate them at present" what a nuisance for so many people.

Malc says: trying to book a flight from Rodez only gives options for Brussels (ie Charleroi) and Dublin (June/July/August). No option for Stansted.
There are regular flights from Charleroi to Manchester and Edinburgh - so it still may be possible.
From Carcassonne there will be flights to several UK airports.
