Isabelle Prime is a young Frenchwoman working on a food programme funded by an American consultancy in Yemen, one of the poorest countries in the world. Yet she was kidnapped with her interpreter in February. Her assistant was released in March, but nothing emerged about Isabelle until a video urging France to co-operate in her release.
Yesterday the French Foreign Office announced that Mlle Prime had been released and will be back in France today.
