It’s that time of year again and the fête de Teysseroles, near Parisot, will soon be upon us –Sunday 28th June is the date for your diaries.
All proceeds from the fête will go to the fund for the restoration of the 15th-century chapel. This year we have some excellent news: the building permit has now been granted and, thanks to your generosity, we have a good sum of money in the bank and the likelihood of grants and subsidies from various quarters. Needless to say, there are still some bureaucratic hoops to jump through, but our goal of restoring the chapel to its former splendour is coming closer.
The day will follow its traditional and popular pattern:
· 10h30 – open-air mass (not obligatory)
· 12h30 – apéritif followed by a meal in our shady alfresco dining room under the trees: salads, stuffed suckling pig, cheese, cakes, fruit, wine, coffee etc. Vegetarian quiches for the non-meat eaters.
· Games, entertainments, tombola, plant sale
Price:
· Members of the Association: 15€
· Non-members: 19€
· Children under 12: 8€
