Women's rights day

Tomorrow, Sunday, is Women's Rights Day and no doubt lots of activities and manifs will take place throughout the world. Just saw on the news a brave young woman walking in Kabul, Afghanistan dressed in a provocative costume, exerting her right to do so. In France a feminist group called "Les chiennes de garde" (watchdogs) has nominated its "machos" of the year. MP Franck Keller was nominated for tweeting that he wondered what "advantages" (atouts) had been deployed by Najat Vallaud Belkacem to gain her promotion to Education Minister by Francois Hollande.
MP Phillipe Vitel also ironised that Valerie Trierweiler should have been given a ministry in fairness with Segolene Royal, all mistresses having equal rights.
