Poisoned, strangled,suffocated then stabbed

Bernadette Colin, professeur de lettres age 64, has been given a sentence of 7 months in prison and 53 months suspended for attempting to kill her 87 year old mother.
She tried to poison her then strangle, suffocate and then ended up stabbing her.
A sad story as Bernadette Colin and her two sisters were bipolar and imagine how trying to manage a mother with alzheimer's must have been. It was one of those situations where the elderly mother should have been taking in to care, but who was to know Bernadette would crack in such a violent way.
The sentence was given as the mother had not expressed a wish to die, but I think we can all imagine the pressures a family member with this disease when in its final stages can place on one.
