Tonight is the night for our Christmas Opera production coming from the Metropolitan Opera House in New York. I like these productions where you get to see back stage, amazing sizes these opera stages, just huge. Unlike our theatre area / salon which at best could be described as snug. Only us could leave the salon set up as a theatre with lines of chairs all winter. All to save Malc and I lugging large comfy chairs up and downstairs for each performance - just too physical. It does mean we have a good choice of sitting areas when we have guests but they all tend to be facing one way towards the screen.
Minor problems when we are having a fun winter period and raising money for Via Sahel Enfants d' Afrique. Wish us well tonight and hope there are not too many cancellations from people with seasonal colds.
