The Viaduct at Millau was inaugurated on 14 Decembre 2004 and two days later traffic started passing over. Would you believe as well 46 million cars have used it and it has attracted 1.4 million visitors. The architect of the viaduct was Lord Norman Foster and it is the highest in the world. At its highest point it is 343 metres above the Tarn.
