Maize stored for winter animal feed. The farmer on the way in to St. Antonin was interested in why we would want a picture of his cows feed. We had quite a nice chat with the family but were sadly disappointed with the photo. When I had seen it earlier in the day the sun was lighting the golden cobs giving a glow all around. However it is a winter scene that is typical of this farming area..
We have other ideas for our winter calendar.
