FET gives us a taste of Christmas and delicious it was

Lovely evening yesterday at Le Colombier Theatre, near Cordes sur Ciel. The Friends of the English Theatre (FET) presented A Thousand Years of Christmas, with soprano Sally Bradshaw, actor Donald Douglas and pianist Michael Haslam.
A packed house enjoyed a mixture of songs and readings ranging from medieval to modern. Some very funny moments, some poignant. All a reminder that Christmas is about more than mince pies - though they were available too after the performance.

  • Celia Berry Absolutely agree, wonderful evening. We are so lucky to have such talented people on our doorstep. Am off to look out the poem about Prinderella and the Cince - thought it was terrific.
