Corsica is the tops

Hi Val,

 I’m not in the least surprised that Corsica has gained top place in the destination stakes. It has everything: wonderful landscape, picturesque hilltop villages, a fascinating culture and a turbulent history. I am so captivated by it that we have visited 5 times, are planning our 6th visit and I set my historical novel “The House at Zaronza” there. People who have read it say it has whetted their appetite to go to Corsica. I did rather want to keep the place a secret. But, on reflection, perhaps the Corsica Tourist Board ought to be paying me commission!
