The Chef Franck Putélat of Carcassone has bought a black truffle weighing more than a kilo.The truffle was found in Indre et Loire. On the 6th of December in Sotheby's at New York the biggest white truffle in the world was sold for 49, 831 euros.
Val says not knowing that much about truffles, do they keep in the fridge or can they be frozen? We seem to have memories of a chef putting one in the fridge for the weekend, returning to find it ruined.
