Well we never were ''the mighty'' but we did like buying and wearing good clothes. I loved the shops in Henley on Thames, Jaeger, Max Mara in New York and Peruvian Connection. Malc always saved his pennies for shopping in New York and loved Armani.
What do we do now?
Well Malc has been wandering round in those jeans with the pocket cut out looking like a definite ''marginal' of the village. We tried ordering more jeans on line but his size was out of stock everywhere.
Today we went to Unicor, the farm shop in Varen, we bought salt lick for the donkeys, hen food and a pair of jeans. We were in fits of laughter as Malc was allowed in the toilet to try them on and I can tell you that toilet was a far cry from the changing rooms in New York.
How our life has changed, I cannot say for the better as both lives have been marvellous... just very different.
