At last, trouble free jam setting, doing away with thermometers, iced saucers and a lot of anxiety! Dr. Oetkers Fruttina, as recommended by Emma Hilditch, does the biz, the only fly in the ointment, or should I say jam, being the article in The Times yesterday about the founder of the Dr. Oetkers firm having been a fully paid up member of the Nazi party, having volunteered to work for the SS. One can only hope that the firm which is still run by the Oetker family is by now a politics free zone.....
