Just two days ago Taglines reported that the weather forecast from next Wednesday was to become very hot - up to 31C by the weekend. Now nothing of the sort is forecast. Dull, possibly wet, only 21C. How can it change so radically in 24 hours? It seems the high pressure zone promising the sunshine is moving more slowly than thought and we will be on the "down side" of the anticyclone, with the air coming from the north .
So can we set any store by the longer range forecasts? T shirts and shorts back in the drawers - unless, of course, they've got it wrong (again).
