My last pair of prescription glasses cost £31 including p&p from their optical works in Cheshire; though you'd pay more for bi-focals, vari-focals, extra thin or tinted lenses, and so on. They will happily accept, and interpret, French prescriptions. At those prices I don't look for a reimbursement from CPAM or my mutuelle.
