As we spend half the year in the UK and half in France, I got quotes from both French and UK insurance companies.
The French ones were very expensive and the cover offered not worth having and they wouldn't cover Feena while in England.
Most of the UK ones only give limited cover for trips to the continent such as 30 or 60 days per year, but SAGA has a travel extension option which is unlimited and SAGA was also the most competitive so if Andrea has a UK address it might be worth contacting them. I am attaching PDF of the SAGA brochure in case you want to forward it to her.
