People living around the army camp at Caylus are fed up again after several days and nights suffering the noise of low flying helicopters. There is an association for the defence of people living near the camp Adricc. A delegation which included the president of the assoc. Bernard Malherbe and the Mayor of St. Projet Christian Frauciel went on Tuesday to meet the Camp Commander responsible for the site.
All in vain as no one in command was there to meet and talk with the angry residents.
Now there is a planned meeting for the 28th of May with the Camp commandant to try and improve the quality of life for residents living nearby to the camp.
Les riverains du Camp de Caylus subissent depuis plusieurs jours l'assaut des hélicoptères tournoyant au-dessus de leur tête «de jour comme de nuit, notamment dans la zone des Espiémonts et de Saillagol», précise l'Association de défense des riverains du camp de Caylus (Adricc). Une délégation de ces riverains excédés par ces nuisances, conduite par son président, Bernard Malherbe, accompagné du maire de Saint -Projet Christian Frauciel, s'est donc rendue au camp Normand mardi 20 mai au soir pour y rencontrer les responsables du site. En vain puisqu'aucun interlocuteur patenté ne fut en mesure de recevoir ces riverains en colère.
Suite aux dernières opérations héliportées, le Président de l'ADRiCC a également contacté Christian Maffre, le maire de Caylus pour l'informer des faits. Dans la foulée, ce dernier annonçait à l'Adricc la tenue d'une réunion le 28 mai prochain avec le Commandant du camp, manière d'évoquer (et de solutionner ?) ces débordements troublant la qualité de vie de ces habitants.
