Castelsarrasin. Des centaines de poissons morts dans l'affluent de la Garonne
At Castelsarrasin people living along the river set up the alarm, they found thousands of fish dead floating in the tributary of the Garonne. At first it was suspected that it might be a problem from a local paint factory, but this was disproved as fish were found dead higher up stream. The theory is now that agricultural pesticides flowing off the land into the river could be to blaim, but the cause will never truly be known.
