Everything is WONDERFUL with Fanfaron! We love him to bits and are so,so glad we went back to get him!!
He's still nervy with certain noises but has adapted well to being a house dog. He is extremely affectionate to us - we can't believe the change. He sleeps through at night and is SO pleased to see us in the morning, leaping around like a puppy. (In fact the vet thinks he is only between 2 and 3 years old, not 4 and 5, which is great news). When people come to the house he will now go towards them, not backing off as he was from us when we first visited him.
We haven't let him off the lead yet - it might be that we can't. We are surrounded by woods with deer and boar - in fact Fanfaron has flushed out 8 deer in the last couple of weeks!
But we have two good long walks, with an extending lead, each day and lark around in the garden.
In fact he has made himself a little too much at home - see photo of him on the sink!! But we don't care. He is absolutely great .
