Angelina Jolie, film star and wife of Brad Pitt has taken the serious step of having a double mastectomy, she revealed on Tuesday. She was at a greater risk than most having a family history of the disease and a rare gene which gives a 65% chance of the disease being developed. The American way to solve it, is the mastectomy. In France the considered opinion is very close monitoring regularly to pick up any sign of the disease developing. I think I would go with the French way myself.
