The show must go on, and it did

The trouble with living out in the country is you do get the odd power cut, seems to happen to us all. Yesterday afternoon saw the Domain de Sautou with out power. A light from a battery was quickly rigged up for the afternoon puppet show to go on. A packed hall, many children watched the story of  'Le vaillant petite tailleur' unfold. We were in a group of six who were all enchanted and listening to the small children becoming more excited and involved was just a pleasure. The main character after the tailor was a big bear, just like the one belonging to Martin Feeney which made us all laugh, and the children adored. If you want to check out the site for the marionnettes go to www.margoden-theatre.com
