Thank you for giving me the opportunity to tell you about myself.
I am 24 years old and have always loved dogs.I have two dogs Dupont and Gnocchi. Dupont would have been put to sleep at two years old so I decided to save him. My mother in law and myself are supporters of dogs taken in at the mairie of St. Antonin since October. Our role is to nourish, socialise and walk the dogs which have been lost in the town, until they find new owners and are back on their feet.
We try to find the owners of dogs that are not reclaimed or identified , placing adverts etc. After 8 days minimum the dog belongs to the Mairie.
We are fostering the dogs which do not do well in the kennels and need education to live with a family.
Athos for example the griffon dog was very scared and with your help we have found a family and now after our training is good with dogs, cats and children.
In the kennels at the moment are two chasse dogs Iris and Perle. Their story is horrible as they were trapped in the woods for several months and now they are very frightened and not used to caresses.
Each day with them with our reassurance they are gaining confidence.
Vegas, the Newfoundland is still with his elderly owner and perhaps a solution has been found for this big teddy bear. I will keep you up to date if he is adopted.

Oh! I forgot we have since October found 11 dogs homes, all except two dogs which had to go to the SPA pound at Montauban, not a good solution.
