I escaped a very hectic London life as a lecturer and dramatherapist in order to create a better life for myself and my son. I have always been interested in house renovation and over the years have picked up some useful skills and can turn my hand to almost anything. I have lost my dislike of heights too now. In London I decorated and rented out buy to let properties and on moving to France in 2003 I renovated and decorated and managed a four storey house consisting of 7 apartments in Villefranche de Rouergue. I am currently re-building a farmhouse for my father.  I have always liked physical work - it offers a refreshing counterpart to too much brain work. I recently bought a Renault Master van to transport building materials and furniture etc, but realised that I could also offer it and myself as a service. I am also a dynamite administrator and can help with translations and relocation issues. I also teach English as a substitute teacher and can help to demystify French. Hope this is useful.
