We are looking for a house to rent in or near St Antonin for the coming winter. Is this something you could post on tag lines? It looks like a great channel for telling the world...
Would your house like to be kept warm and dry for the coming winter?
Having spent a happy - if rather damp- winter in St Antonin this year we are keen to find another place to rent for the coming winter.
We are looking to come down sometime in October and stay preferably until end April/ early May so about 7 months. Having been in the town last year we would prefer to be on the outskirts, within walking/cycling distance.
We definitely look for a wood burning stove and some other form of heating but realise that comprehensive heating is unlikely! Two bedrooms, a sitting area and some other sort of space that can be used for study etc are our basic requirements. More space and a second bathroom would be nice. Happy to do garden maintenance if needed over the winter - we would not need to use a pool.
By way of background... We are retired Scots with a yacht to sail during the summer. Our house in Edinburgh is let until next year so we need a winter home. Having discovered St Antonin quite by chance we would like to come back and resume our friendships etc.
