Here’s an old photo of
the main road through Septfonds showing the one metre wide tramlines.
There was a steam tram
running 22 km from Caussade to Caylus, which opened in 1913.
It was one of six
similarly short lines in the Tarn et Garonne which all closed in 1933 due to
competition from motor vehicles.
I guess the photo is
from about 1920.
