Remembrance day today and the BBC are interviewing Marine Le Pen on the Andrew Marr show this morning. Why give her air time especially on a day so special where we revere our dead who died to give us freedom from oppression and racist actions. In the second world war against the Jews, gypies and mentally ill or handicapped.
We have a fight on our hands and we must work now all of us who believe in freedom for all humanity.
Pandering to Marine Le Pen today or any day does not help the cause.
Val says this comment from Angela Rayner
Angela Rayner, Labour shadow Education Minister, "Marine Le Pen speaking on #Marr Remembrance Sunday? Why not interview our veterans who fought fascists and lost so many comrades? So wrong on this BBC, they say she might be next president of France? I think the timing is appalling to have her on spouting her divisive fascist rhetoric the same day we commemorate those who paid with their lives fighting Hitler and his fascist cronies is too much. Some say let her on as it's freedom of speech etc I don't agree, it's an insult to the memory of all those who died defending our freedom against those who peddled death through a sickening ideology. I honestly don't get the BBC on this"....
