When we look back on the events of our history, how frequently do we find ourselves asking how our ancestors could let such atrocities happen? Now we're living it ourselves, and future generations will judge us in the same way for failing to show compassion to our fellow man. We can assume no rights, comforts or amenities that aren't also due to every other human being on this planet.
