New Years Accounting.... Things we will not forget....

Hi Val,
Sid & I would like to say a massive thank you on the behalf of all those that were helped in Calais by TAG  in 2015. Through TAG readers generosity we were able to house over 1100 people in the jungle - the thousands (nearly 4) raised by TAG & local events gave us a massive springboard to get this going not to mention the volunteers who drove up at their own expense from this area & worked so hard alongside us. Neither must we forget the car after car load of donations - clothes, bedding, cooking equipment that again arrived on our doorstep courtesy of TAG.

Now we're into 2016 & you just don't stop Val - more thousands, plus laptops, clothing, bedding, phone credit, dictionaries, the endless list gathered once again from ordinary people who are making do with a little bit less in order to give yet again - this time to the lovely boys at Rehoboth.

We take our hats off to you Val & to everyone who has been so very generous. 

As the old Irish blessing goes :

May the sun rise to greet you, 

May the road rise to meet you, 

May the world not defeat you

As you work your way on.

Val says you lovely troops are there to rally and we have all achieved so much... and it continues as you say. I cannot do the physical work  but TAG can affect minds.
One little sentence " the boys have no charge in their phones" has resulted in a donation directly from one person for each boy to be able to charge their phones and from the pledges received today they will now get 20 euros worth. I just love it, charity.
