This sort of thing can happen, and it did to Jill and Tim

Four years ago a British couple Jill and Tim bought their house at Mirande, they put in a pool and ran a successful chambre d' hote business. The land near them came up for sale and was bought by duck farmers and now they have a factory with thousands of ducks and gavage sheds just 100 metres away from their home.. "The noise and smell is terrible "says Jill. "It has ruined our business and our property is practically worthless!"
One feels so sorry for them, all their lives money ploughed into a dream which has gone sour.
