No slippers and a pig.

When we first came to live in  France 14 years ago, we  often saw villagers in smocks and slippers in the boulangerie and PO. Now perhaps that more elderly generation has died out and the elderly French are there in smart outfits with hair died red.
This observation came about as Malc refused to go out with me in a pair of shorts with holes ! 14 years of living here and how standards have slipped, "comfy dog gear" over " Henley posh frocks"is now my style... but you will all be relieved I took off my ancient shorts!**
Down by the river the man who comes each year with his caravan and brings his pot bellied pig was there and will be there tomorrow.  I think they do the brocante. We did not walk the three dogs past him as we were worried there might be bacon butties on the cards.
Very friendly pig, watch out for him tomorrow, he will be back in the caravan with nostril sticking out.
