Lovely day today forecast to be about 30 degrees, the next ten days are forecast to be even hotter and of course as it is only 10 days to Picnic in the Park we are checking forecasts.
At the moment 36 degrees is being forecast for Wednesday the 22nd, we will be putting out umbrellas and tunnels for shade, but I think it will just mean it will be a balmy night, with another super sunset. Bookings still being taken and we have widened the area for extra places and dancing. Jean and Rob who enchanted many with their dancing last year will be coming once again with their dancing shoes. Many of the band will be staying over night in the gite to save a late drive back to Toulouse.
We are picking up the drums on Friday from a TAG reader Sarah who made the kind offer.
Local reader just featured 70 year old John Taylor has offered, as he did last year to sing a few songs with the band.
Malc is checking today that nothing goes wrong with the offer of chairs and tables from the Mayor, necessitating a visit to the Mairie...!
Gill Catterall has offered to help make a picnic with me for the band and others have offered help with setting out tables and chairs.
