Yesterday afternoon the temperature just kept rising till we all gave up, even the shade of the grange and came into the house with closed curtains and shutters. The lounge floor was littered with heaving furry bodies but I did make Malc sit on a sofa! The tennis was gripping, well done Heather Watson. The pets who are all French so may not have been so supportive raised an eye as we clapped and cheered the points.
What will today bring, a swim in the pool before shopping and serious walk for the dogs before the searing heat arrives.
Tonight is the Donald Douglas show at theatre Les Cabannes.
