The English news translated from the French in both The Local and the Connexion are very good with keeping us "up" with the news, but it is satisfying to see how often we pick up a story worth mentioning before they do. The driving with flip flop stories ended up a week later in the Connexion and then after that I noted sites on facebook picking it up from the Connexion.
We may be a couple of oldies reporting in our spare minutes but on local news in English we do not do "a half bad job"
