There is a place to go for that Christmas tree

A reader tells Lorraine " you need to go to the "Pepiniere Gautier" which you find on the road from Varen to St. Antonin (not the Cavaille vine pepiniere). Spot the big serres/ plastic greenhouses, go down the track. The house is on the left, ring the bell and eventually a lady arrives with a saw. You need  your wellies on and you go off to look at the trees, choose the one you want and she saws it down. A good sized tree is about 10 euros.
We laughed when Lorraine's husband asked if she bagged it for you with one of those plastic bagging machines. The answer is " no" you pick it up and find space in the car, roof or trailer.
