Nothing like the smell of " wet dog " in the house is there? Drizzling today and Bonny who keeps playing outside and then asking to come in with wet coat and mud caked paws makes me wonder why I keep mopping up and spraying air freshener around. You clean Bonny up and then the cats come in wet through, pad along the newly changed covers on the sofa weaving interesting trails of paw marks. At least the donkeys who manage to look so pathetic when they are wet are out in the fields and stable... mind you I will not say how the stable smells! Oh! the joy of pets, we do just love them and their soggy paws and smells.
Malc read this and said " by the way there are cat prints all over the newly polished table, and I must go and muck the stable out!
