Golden orioles and hoopoes

The golden oriole was flying around as I fed the donkeys early this morning. As we sat having breakfast a baby hoopoe flew to the window catching flies. He then sat on the step preening himself. We were all enthralled, cats, dogs, me and Malc all had our noses pressed to the window as he sat preening fluffy feathers.

Not easy to photograph when he's sitting on the doorstep!
