Thank you, thank you everyone who have booked so far for " Picnic in the Park"
We are now at the stage of being able to pay the band, well that is when we get all the money in.
We had discussed what if it rains? We are lucky that we have the grange but that would not fit in all the crowds and the band so today we have spashed out ( sounds appropriate, thinking of rain) on a chapiteau. The marquee is a good size and will fill up the inner courtyard next to the grange.
Last year we splashed out on a outdoor heater ( I know, I know they are not good for the planet)
As we are also hosting Folk'n'Jazz at the end of June, we will never have to worry anymore about inclement weather when partying out of doors.
The marquee will only be erected if bad weather is forecast, we hope it will stay in its bag forever.
Another thought about the evening if anyone wanted to camp overnight so they can have a drink with out worrying just let us know. We have a two berth caravan and a two man tent which could be used and you could of course bring your own.
