An idea hated by the extreme right; the idea that boys to show their support for freedom of expression in sexuality, at a school in Nantes just for today are wearing skirts. The funny thing is I bet the girls are all in trousers. I notice the young girls here wear leggings with a little skirt and huge walking boots when they are going out.
Fashion is an odd thing and I always think what a waste of time the knickers /slips in France and those strings in English are. On a programme on fashion I learned that ladies only started wearing knickers in the prudish Victorian times. Before that long skirts dragging in the dirt with private parts free to the air. Marilyn Munroe was also said not to wear knicks.
Good luck to those brave boys today, I bet they will be glad to be back in their trousers tomorrow.
