Busy, busy day for me and that Sub

The marechal / blacksmith is coming at 9.30am to trim the hooves / sabots of my two girls Rosie and Lucy. For the first time he is now in charge of the health and care of the two boy donkeys Filou and Coco. Both these donkeys have problem hooves with something called  fourmillier, a mushroom fungus. Julia the owner of the boy donkeys is now hoping Patrick can help sort it out but it will take a few months. Regular care of sabots is one of the most important things needed for donkeys.
Also we are expecting "shenanigans" with the boys, especially Filou, the big chap. They throw themselves around the stable quite a bit. I do not fancy being bounced against a wall,  so hope Julia is here for the trimming.
After this I am having a French conversation lesson, which is funny as the whole mornings proceedings will be in French.
Invited out to a quiet, simple lunch with friends. Malc plays boule Friday afternoon, today back at Verfeil.
Whilst I must give the dogs a long walk and some attention.
Hope you have a super day now the wind has gone, although it may be " singing in the rain"
