A concert featuring Mozart’s Requiem will take place on Sunday 17th July at 18h00 in the Abbey of Marcilhac-sur-Célé (SW of Figeac), in aid of the restoration of the abbey.
A number of local people are taking part, including Geneviève Foccroulle, who will play the organ accompaniment, and Geof Cryer, who will sing the bass solo part. I will be lurking somewhere among the legion of sopranos!
Tickets are 12 euros, no prior reservation is required.
