We used to have a book shop many moons ago in Bolton. In the next shop we had a friend who lived at Blackburn, used to drive us to distraction telling us how the weather was better where he lived.
We privately used to laugh about the " Blackburn micro climate".
Well this morning the sun came out up here at 10 am and I had yet another fabulous walk talking to myself, or the dogs of course, I ran through the usual routine about how lucky we are.
At 11am we drove down in to Varen for a bit of shopping and there you could hardly see a dog in front of you.
We met a French lady who lives at Arnac walking a little dog.We discussed the chasse being out and she was amazed " how can they hunt in this fog?"
"Clear as a bell at Mas del Sol" we said.
As we drove home back to the sun we remembered the Blackburn micro climate and realised we now have the " Mas del Sol" micro climate and it is probably just as annoying.
