We needed new bags for our vacuum cleaner (yes we still use them) and Malc tried to order them on line, but computer problems stopped the order being completed. The order was for 12 bags 18.99 euros, plus 2 filters 4.99 euros, 23.98 euros plus free postage.
Having abandoned that order Malc switched to Val's iPad and found the same items from the same supplier for 20 euros, post free.
It obviously pays to shop around, especially if you have access to both PC and Mac.
NB we had to go to St Antonin so asked the splendid Hans Buijsard to have a look at the computer. He rang back a few hours later to say all was well, having found the source (not a virus but a compatibility clash between the HP software and Windows) and put things right.
