As we loaded up Matthew's truck after we got back from lunching ( a great way to lose a few of the calories we thought) the idea was going round my head that we now need to raise money.
Goods are fine and have been helpful but storage is becoming a problem in Calais. Not only are people throughout France but the UK as well, are having aid runs with bedding and warm clothes.
The things being asked for now are tents, sleeping bags, torches and toiletries.
Old duvets and warm clothes we have but many of the other things need to be bought.
I have this idea of asking local Mayors if we could use the Halles from time to time to have jumble sales. I am sure we could soon whip up some funds, stalls on the markets, items on TAG for sale also for the funds.
We are looking in to a possible venue for a gig which has been offered by " Martin St. Martin", news on that when we have more.
