how are you? Seems like ages but hope you had a good summer and are settling into the more quieter days of Autumn. I've got some info about Mini Monde music lessons this term if any TAG readers might be interested.
Piano Lessons - have started up again after the long summer break. After school slots are filling up fast but I have lots of time during the day for any beginners wishing to learn. Lessons are either in Parisot or at student's house (depending on distance.) Very relaxed lessons tailored to the student depending on what they wish to achieve!
Recorder Ensemble - new for this term I am trying to set up a recorder group for adults! Who hasn't played the recorder at some point!! I'm encouraging people to dig theirs out and join others who want to take up the instrument again. The group is suitable for all levels but especially beginners. It will run every three weeks, day/time depending on when most people are available. I have a variety of music for us to play from classical to folk to more modern pieces. We will start with the basics, simple duets and work at the pace of the group. I have more info for anyone interested. First session will be in a couple of weeks!
Singing - the new Voices (les choeurs) term kicked off this week but newcomers are still welcome. Choir for beginners takes place on Monday evenings in Villefranche. I have some fun popular pieces in my repertoire this year including Marvin Gaye, France Gall, Simon & Garfunkel and Shakira! Full details can be found here http://www.voicesleschoeurs.com/
