On our upcoming trip to Calais we are finding people's generosity truly humbling, from the man in Calais who had no hesitation in offering us a 20% reduction on our room rate as we would be there to help refugees, Mel our marvellous mechanic who is donating his time to make sure our elderly van & bus are in good enough condition to get to where they're headed, Finlay who drove with his wife for well over an hour each way to donate bicycles & all the many people who have given clothing, shoes, bedding & given of their time & space to provide collection points - it really brings it home to us what a great community we live in. Please keep it coming. There are people out there who still haven't heard that we need donations for both our trip next week leaving next Monday 21st & our longer trip leaving November 1st so if everyone who reads this could spread the word "Teamwork for Humanity" as you so succinctly put it Val. For next weeks trip we particularly need hand tools, nails, builders plastic to make shelters.
Thank you Laura

Gina Connolly is now collecting in the Parisot area so I am sure we will have lots more again soon, and I agree what a great community we live in.
