Billy a cameroon ram needs a home with other animals

Hi Val and Malcolm how are you both?
Here after the devastation, barn roof tiles gone with the wind and a lot of old fallen trees as well as huge branches lying around which will take us months to deal with, calm is back at Balthazard. So now  we are thinking of putting our Dini, our Cameroon ram, back with the girls for lambing in the spring,  but we first have to find a home for little Billy, a young male born one year ago. We have kept Dini and Billy away from the girls to give the mums a rest, and they seem to have enjoyed it a great deal as they have not responded to the rams calls….since January. October is the time to reunite them. Last month Little billy had one horn cut short by the farrier after the end was found digging into his neck. He didn’t like being held tight but didn’t seem bothered at all as soon as he was released. The horn will keep on growing as he is very young and won’t have any more trouble with it. We are looking for a home for him so that we can have the donkeys and sheep back as a pack for the winter in one field. Selling him is not an issue, we’re happy to give him away as long as he will be joining another pack of sheep, donkeys or other farm animals and is happy. We could transport him to his new place if it is not too far away. Around 50km is ok. Billy is a lovely lad, enjoys a rub behind his ears and under his chin and would make a fun addition to any small holding….anybody interested apart from the butcher, please get in touch through my email: martinelyon@yahoo.com
All the best
