Empty nest syndrome... but just for a week

The birds have flown, first the kestrels left us feeling sad and now the grandchildren have flown off leaving us with a similar feeling of ''empty nest syndrome'' The dogs look sad but I think that is because a very good food source has left, leaving them with '' no more scraps on the floor syndrome''
All is not lost we have some visitors arriving on Tuesday for a few days and then ''The Barraclough boys'' will hit the scene, and for two weeks we will not know if we are on our heads or heels or in the case of dogs, heads or tails,  with our four nephews ages 15 to 7, their Mum and partner and granddad [ our artist brother in law.]
Hope you are all enjoying visitors and family and accept that a home in Mid Pyrenees means a stream of visitors at the door,[ better than being bored, I think!]
