Having a meal out in a friends home, whilst we were eating a beautifully marked pair of partridges wandered through the garden. The male must have seen his reflection in a window close to where we were eating and he came right to the window peering in, obviously looking for the other fine fellow who could be his rival. Special moments like that are rare and no one had a camera to hand.
